The End in Sight

I can count the hours remaining in this adventure in double digits now, and my words remaining are in the quadruple digits. This has been an interesting year for me, as I have been getting less and less motivated to do my words each day, and things aren’t flowing quite as easily as they normally do, especially this late in the game.

Still, I must pull myself up by my bootstraps and soldier on. Just 4 days to go.

As to the story itself, an unexpected character appeared, leading to a long-winded rant on how much they had missed in the time they had been gone. That by itself took up a few hundred words. My heroes are finally getting trained properly for the eventual battle to come, but a snag has come into play that needs addressing first.
